Who are we?
The American Society for Quality is a full service
professional society founded in 1946 and incorporated as a
not-for-profit organization. A leading quality improvement organization
with over 95,000 individual and 700 company members in more than 100
countries. It is headquartered in Milwaukee, WI and is organized into
over 250 local sections and 26 sector-specific divisions.
The Akron-Canton ASQ Section has 600 members from more than
425 local manufacturing or service businesses, healthcare, government,
and education. It is a highly rated section in the society and it meets
on a regular basis to share ideas, experiences, and knowledge.
