Joe Decker Section 810 Education Chair

never done this activity you won't want to miss this opportunity to ask
specific questions about preparing your Recertification Journal. You
will learn about what you can and can not use as RU's and get an
overall view of what is expected from you to maintain your
certifications in good standing. For those of you that are maintaining
your own journals this will be a good refresher

“Demystifying
Capability Indexes”
- Robert D. Skillman
All capability indexes have one thing in
common, the voice of the customer (tolerances) and the voice of the
process (data studies).
Additionally,
they have requirements such as:
- Capable Measurement
Systems
- Free of Special
Causes
- Normally Distributed Distributions
(Symmetrical)
In this Program we shall gain knowledge of the
essentials of Capability Studies. We will achieve understanding of
Capability Indexes and the problems encountered when the data is not
normally distributed or contains Special Causes. There are remedies for
these conditions that will be covered.
