Grace will talk about how we can grow from Six-Sigma to Lean SixSigma, from Supply Chain to Value Chain, from Information Management to Knowledge Management, and from Reliability to Innovation. She will help us understand what is needed to stay ahead of the wave, where to focus our efforts in life-long learning, to be prepared for the work that will need to be done in the quality profession of the 21st century.

“The Platinum Rule”
Ron Finklestein, Owner, ARKIS, LLC

Grace’s conclusions (critical skills for future success, include communication, trust, shared commitment, life-long learning) make a great segue into our next presentation. As quality professionals, we know that “value” is what the customer determines it to be. Ron Finklestein will share with us the power of “treating people the way they want to be treated” – understanding what our customers (internal or external) want and finding a way to give it to them. It all begins with communicating in a manner that works for your customer.

Ron Finklestein is the owner of AKRIS, LLC, helping entrepreneurs and
business owners build their businesses by helping them solve the tough
problems that hold them back. Ron has twenty-five years of Fortune 1000 consulting experience. He is the author of Celebrating Success! 14 Ways to Create a Successful Company, and coauthor of The Platinum Rule for Small Business Mastery (www.celebrating-success.com) with Dr. Tony Alessandra and Scott Zimmerman. Ron is, also, Executive Director of Business Leadership Association, a nonprofit that raises money for leadership training.
